About the Role
As a Medical Device Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that healthcare professionals and internal teams are fully equipped to use medical devices safely, effectively, and in line with regulatory requirements. Drawing on your experience within medical devices, medical communications, and internal medicine, you will design, deliver, and continually refine training programmes that enhance product understanding, support patient safety, and drive successful adoption. Working closely with regulatory affairs, medical directors, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will translate complex clinical and technical information into clear, engaging training materials that support both compliance and commercial objectives.
Key Skills and Expertise
Proven experience working with medical devices, ideally in a training, education, or medical affairs capacity
Strong understanding of regulatory affairs within the medical device sector and how these requirements impact training content
Background in internal medicine or similar clinical discipline, enabling confident discussion of therapeutic areas and clinical practice
Experience in or exposure to medical communications environments, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and accurately
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, comfortable delivering training to diverse audiences including clinicians and internal teams
Ability to develop structured training programmes, resources, and supporting materials tailored to different user groups
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to collaborate effectively with medical directors, regulatory teams, and commercial colleagues
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly regarding clinical, technical, and regulatory content
Organised, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple training projects and deadlines
Excellent IT skills
